Madhav Kumar Nepal Pledges to Complete Party Unification Within a Week

Kathmandu. Co-coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has stated that efforts are underway to complete the remaining organizational unification work of the party within a week. He made these remarks while speaking at a calendar unveiling program organized by the All Nepal Women's Association (Revolutionary) Liaison Coordination Provincial Committee on the occasion of the New Year. 

Leader Nepal acknowledged that the election results were contrary to expectations and emphasized the need for a serious review. He questioned the activism and honesty of party cadres during the election and urged them to engage in self-reflection.

Informing that a meeting of the 45-member Central Coordination Committee has been ongoing for seven days, he stated that discussions are being held regarding national issues, the political crisis, and the challenges facing the communist movement. Recalling the significant role played by communists in Nepali politics since 2007 BS, he claimed that communists are the true patriots. He directed the women's organization to combat violence against women, atrocities against Dalits, and poverty prevalent in society. 

He stated that women should pay attention to both their district-level and national issues. Leader Nepal remarked that unity alone is not enough, asserting that the party must have the courage to stand on its own feet to increase its strength and win the hearts of the people.
