House of Representatives Regulation Drafting Committee to Begin Deliberations on Amendments

Kathmandu. The House of Representatives Regulation Drafting Committee is set to begin discussions on proposed amendments starting Thursday. During a meeting held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday, the committee reached a consensus to initiate regular deliberations on the necessary revisions.

The 15-member committee is chaired by Ganesh Parajuli. According to Nepali Congress lawmaker Nishkal Rai, who attended the meeting, Chairman Parajuli read through chapters 1 to 8 of the draft regulations. "The Chairman has requested that any proposed amendments be brought forward tomorrow," Rai stated.

The members of the committee include Rai, Ojaswi Sherchan, Ain Bahadur Mahar, Khagendra Sunar, Khusbu Oli, Gajala Samim Mikrani, Tapeshwor Yadav, Dhruvaraj Rai, Nisha Dangi, Balawati Sharma, Madhu Chaulagain, Yagyamani Neupane, Rekha Kumari Yadav, and Sulav Kharel.
