Protests erupt in Kathmandu over rising fuel prices

Kathmandu. Protests have been held in opposition to the recent hike in petroleum product prices. The demonstration took place at Maitighar Mandala on Saturday.

The protest was organized by the National Gen-Z Citizens Campaign and the Grand Campaign Against Misgovernance, citing that the extreme rise in fuel prices has made daily life difficult for the general public.

The demonstrators stated that the protest was aimed at drawing the government's attention to the need for price adjustments and relief measures to mitigate the impact of the price hikes.
