Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan's 'Bhooth Bangla' Release Date Rescheduled

Mumbai. The release date for the highly anticipated film 'Bhooth Bangla', starring Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, has been rescheduled. Producer Ekta Kapoor announced via social media that the film, originally slated for release on April 10, will now hit theaters on April 16.

According to Ekta Kapoor, 'paid preview' shows for the film will begin at 9 PM on April 16 (Thursday). She stated that the decision to postpone the release was made through a tripartite agreement between the producers, distributors, and exhibitors. The primary reason for the delay is attributed to the ongoing box office success of the film 'Dhurandhar 2'.

'Bhooth Bangla' marks the return of the duo Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan to the big screen after approximately 14 years. It is a horror-comedy film.

In addition to Akshay, the film features prominent actors such as Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani in lead roles. The collaboration between Akshay and Priyadarshan has previously produced blockbuster films like 'Hera Pheri', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', and 'Garam Masala', making this project highly anticipated among audiences.
