Koshi Provincial Assembly Passes Provincial Legislation Bill

Biratnagar. The 'Bill to Provide for Provincial Legislation' was passed unanimously in today's meeting of the Koshi Provincial Assembly.

Koshi Province Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Indra Mani Parajuli, presented the proposal for the bill to be passed in the House. No members participated in the discussion on the proposal to deliberate on the bill, which included the report from the Justice, Administration, and Legislation Committee, in accordance with Rule 107, Sub-rule (2), Clause (a) of the Provincial Assembly Regulations, 2074.

Similarly, the proposal presented by Minister Parajuli to send the 'Bill to Provide for Mass Communication in Koshi Province' back to the relevant committee with instructions for reconsideration was passed unanimously by the decision of Speaker Ambar Bahadur Bista.

The next meeting of the assembly will be held on Chaitra 22 at 1:00 PM.
