Traffic Police Fine 110 Vehicles for Lane Discipline Violations in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu. Traffic police have taken action against private vehicles violating lane discipline and public transport vehicles operating with open doors.

SP Naresh Subedi of the Valley Traffic Police Office told Ratopati that 110 vehicles were fined on Sunday for violating lane discipline and stopping after crossing the stop line.

Traffic police also fined 28 public transport vehicles for carrying passengers with their doors open. An 'Ensure Left Lane Clear' campaign began on the valley's roads starting today.

SP Subedi stated, ": 'An operation has begun allowing vehicles to drive unimpeded on the left side of the road and to stop only at designated stops.'"
