Thousands of US Troops Arrive in West Asia Amid Escalating Iran Tensions

Tehran. Thousands of American soldiers have arrived in the West Asia region. These soldiers arrived in the region on Saturday as the conflict with Iran escalates. This has further strengthened the US military presence amidst regional tensions. 

According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), the warship named USS Tripoli has arrived in West Asia. It has been reported that this ship is leading a unit comprising approximately 3,500 sailors and Marine Corps personnel. 

It has also been stated that fighter jets used for transport and attack are being deployed along with that unit. This indicates that America's preparations for potential military action have intensified. 

Previously, The Washington Post had published a report stating that the Pentagon was preparing for a ground military operation in Iran that could last for weeks. However, it is still unclear whether US President Donald Trump will approve those plans.
