Nepali Congress to Hold Orientation Program for Federal Lawmakers

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress is set to organize an orientation program for its federal parliament members. The decision was made during the Central Working Committee meeting held at the party's central office in Sanepa on Tuesday and Wednesday, to conduct the orientation for members of both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.

The meeting also decided to hold the orientation program on Chaitra 14. According to the press release issued by Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal after the meeting, the orientation will cover parliamentary practice, procedures, priorities, and the party's commitments.

‘It is decided to conduct an orientation program on Chaitra 14 regarding parliamentary practice, procedures, priorities, and the party's commitments on behalf of the Nepali Congress for the members elected from the First-Past-the-Post and Proportional Representation systems in the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21, 2082, and the newly elected members of the National Assembly,’ the press release stated.
