Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar 2' Matches 'Pushpa 2' Record, Earning Over 10 Billion Rupees Globally in Under a Week

Mumbai. The Ranveer Singh-starrer film 'Dhurandhar 2' in the Indian film industry has set a new history in terms of earnings. In less than a week since its release, the film has crossed the mark of 10 billion Indian Rupees at the worldwide box office, equaling the record set by the blockbuster 'Pushpa 2'.

Both films achieved this massive success in just 7 days. However, in terms of total earnings for 7 days, 'Pushpa 2' is still slightly ahead with a total collection of 1011.65 crore.

According to the trade website Sacnilk, on the seventh day of release, Wednesday, 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' collected a net of 47.70 crore in India alone. With this, the film's worldwide gross collection reached 1006.50 crore.

In India alone, it has managed to collect a gross of 744.58 crore and a net collection of 623.42 crore. The magic of the film continues overseas, with a business of 261.92 crore from the overseas market.

Interestingly, the first part of Dhurandhar took 22 days to earn 1000 crore, but the second part achieved this success in just one week. This film has also managed to enter the list of the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films worldwide.

Looking at the trade on the seventh day by language, the Hindi version alone accounted for 44 crore in business, while a strong impact was also seen in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

The first part of Dhurandhar had set a record for the highest-grossing Hindi film worldwide by earning 1307 crore. It notably broke the record of Baahubali 2 in the United States and Canada.

Despite not receiving release permission in Gulf countries and obtaining an adult certificate, this success confirms Ranveer Singh's growing craze in Indian cinema.

Looking at the current pace, Dhurandhar 2 appears set to surpass the lifetime record of its first part, 1307 crore, soon.
