Ujyalo Nepal Party Chief Vows to Serve Public from 'Street Government' After Election Loss

Kathmandu. The Chairman of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, claimed that his party has emerged as the foremost despite losing the election, and announced that they will now serve the public from the 'government of the street'.

Addressing the Bagmati Province-level leaders' gathering and training program organized in Sukedhara on Wednesday, he stated that he accepts the mandate where the public gave nearly a two-thirds majority to one party for political stability in the country.

He committed to raising the issues of all Nepalis from the streets, as the public has mandated his party to act as a watchdog from the streets. Chairman Ghising clarified that his party will play a strong role from the streets for the nation's nationality, prosperity, and resolution of public problems.

He mentioned that his party will always be ready to guide the country on the right path by supporting the government's good deeds and strongly criticizing its wrongdoings. Informing that the central committee meeting was held immediately after the election to review all candidates across the country, he noted that a new direction for the future has already been set.

Announcing the schedule for the party to organize gatherings in all seven provinces, he informed that after Bagmati, the program in Madhes Province will be held on Chaitra 14. He stated that the campaign to expand the organization down to the district, municipality, and ward levels has already begun after the provincial gatherings concluded.

He expressed high respect for the votes and affection given by the public in the election, despite the party's short time since establishment and lack of organization. Admitting that they could not reach the doorsteps and mobile phones of the public during the election, he claimed that the Ujyalo Nepal Party would be established as the country's strongest force within the next year.

Realizing some shortcomings in digital media campaigns and publicity in the past, he stated that they will now ensure the party's agenda reaches every citizen. Predicting a significant presence for the party in the upcoming local and provincial elections, he instructed the cadres to engage in organization building in a disciplined and dignified manner.

He assured that after intensive discussions, the party will reach a concrete conclusion and move forward across the country with new enthusiasm.
