Nepali Congress Central Working Committee Meeting to Continue Discussions Today

Kathmandu. The meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee is scheduled to convene again today. Krishna Prasad Dulal, the acting chief secretary of the Congress Central Office, stated that the meeting is set for 11 AM.

In today's meeting, central committee members will continue to express their views on the agenda items that have been under discussion since Tuesday. In Tuesday's meeting, President Gagan Kumar Thapa proposed a schedule to hold the 15th General Convention from Bhadra 24 to 26.

Discussions are being held in the meeting regarding contemporary issues, establishing good governance, forming a committee with experts to study and suggest constitutional amendments, the schedule for the party's 15th General Convention, and the formation of the Central Election Committee.

Furthermore, Dulal informed that discussions were held regarding orientation for House of Representatives members, a special campaign for the distribution and updating of active membership, review, coordination, and further effectiveness of provincial and local governments, matters concerning sister organizations, well-wisher organizations, and public relations committees, the formation of the Central Accounts Committee, and various other topics.
