Young Man Dies in Road Accident in Tilottama Municipality

Butwal. A 21-year-old youth from Butwal lost his life in a traffic accident in Kotihawa, Tilottama Municipality, Rupandehi.

 According to the Highway Security and Traffic Management Office, Butwal, the deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Umesh Gupta, a resident of Old Bus Park, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-6.

The accident occurred this morning when a truck with license plate Na 6 Kha 3430, traveling from Bhairahawa towards Butwal, collided with the bullet motorcycle (Madhesh Province 03-029 Pa 5076) on which Gupta was riding. Gupta was rescued after being injured in the collision and rushed to Crimson Hospital, Manigram for further treatment, where doctors declared him dead.

Police stated that the truck driver, 29-year-old Mukesh Kumar Chaudhary from Saptari District, Surunga-1, and the truck have been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway.
