Grave Misuse of Government Property Exposed in Jumla as Official Vehicle Rider Found Intoxicated

Jumla. An incident of extreme misuse of government property has surfaced in Jumla. The negligence and irresponsibility within the state mechanism have been exposed after the person riding a government-plated motorcycle (bike) was found in a state of intoxication (DUI).

On Sunday evening, the District Traffic Office, Jumla, impounded the bike with registration number Ka1Ba 186 during a routine DUI check. According to eyewitnesses, the rider of the bike was staggering due to alcohol consumption. Although the traffic police released the individual after imposing a fine as necessary action, the incident raises serious questions.

It has not been revealed who the person riding the government bike while intoxicated on the road is. When asked which office the bike belongs to, the rider responded, 'I don't know.'

It is suspicious in itself that the person driving a vehicle with a government license plate has no knowledge of its source or responsibility. The use of government vehicles for private purposes is not new, but driving while intoxicated on the road is not only an extreme misuse of state property but also a blatant violation of prevailing laws.
