Manchester City Thwarts Arsenal's Quadruple Dream, Clinching Carabao Cup Title at Wembley

London. Manchester City secured the Carabao Cup title with a dominant performance against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium. Pep Guardiola's side ended Arsenal's historic ambition of winning four major trophies this season by registering a one-sided victory. 

Young player Nico O'Reilly emerged as the hero in City's victory, scoring two goals within four minutes of the second half to seal the result in their favor. This loss proved particularly painful for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta. His decision to continue with Kepa Arrizabalaga as the goalkeeper for this competition instead of main keeper David Raya proved counterproductive. 

In the 60th minute, O'Reilly gave City the initial lead with a header after Kepa failed to control a simple cross from Ryan这位Churki, letting it slip. For Guardiola, who, like Arteta, trusted his cup goalkeeper, Trafford proved his worth. City maintained constant pressure in a match where Arsenal appeared very defensive and fearful.
