Prime Minister Karki Extends Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings, Emphasizing National Harmony and Prosperity

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed her wishes that the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr may contribute to enhancing mutual respect, goodwill, and cooperation among Nepalis, thereby contributing to the nation's prosperity and stability.

The Prime Minister extended heartfelt best wishes to all Muslim brothers and sisters residing both within the country and abroad on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, which is celebrated following the completion of the long fast of the holy month of Ramadan in the Islamic calendar, while doing this work today.

“The month-long arduous fast of Ramadan gives us the message of patience, tolerance, sacrifice, and dedication to humanity,” the Prime Minister wrote on the social networking site Facebook, “It is because of this sanctity that this period of fasting during Ramadan is also called the month of good deeds and restraint.”

She also expressed her belief that these values inspire society to realize human values, coexistence, and prosperity, and that Eid-ul-Fitr will further strengthen the spirit of mutual goodwill, brotherhood, and unity.
