Newly Elected Rastriya Swatantra Party MPs Vow to Focus on Governance and Public Expectations

Kathmandu. Newly elected members of parliament from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have pledged to work with a focus on addressing public expectations and establishing good governance.

During an orientation and introductory program for the MPs held on Wednesday, they stated that they would prioritize the agenda of controlling corruption, promoting inclusivity, and fulfilling the aspirations of the people.

MP Hari Dhakal emphasized the need to clean the 'source' for good governance. He stated that the public mandate is clearly in favor of good governance and that work would proceed accordingly.

MP Bhumika Shrestha, representing the sexual and gender minority community, stated that she would promote the interests of marginalized communities and raise their voices in parliament. She mentioned that ending discrimination in health, education, employment, and social justice would be her main agenda.

MP Ashika Tamang stated that the five-year term would be focused on controlling corruption. She claimed that the country would make significant strides if corruption could be eradicated.

MP Sagar Dhakal stated that the implementation of the manifesto published during the election would be prioritized. He mentioned the plan to move towards long-term development by fulfilling the small aspirations of the people.
