PSG Dominates Chelsea with 5-2 Victory in Champions League Last 16 First Leg

Kathmandu. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated English club Chelsea by a massive 5-2 margin in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16. PSG secured an impressive victory at home amidst a goal-fest, taking a strong step towards the quarterfinals.

Bradley Barcola gave PSG the initial lead with a goal in the 10th minute. However, Malo Gusto equalized for Chelsea in the 28th minute. Five minutes before the end of the first half, Ousmane Dembele scored in the 40th minute, giving PSG a 2-1 lead at halftime.

Chelsea showed signs of returning to the game in the second half. Enzo Fernandez scored in the 57th minute to bring the score to 2-2. However, PSG dominated the game thereafter. Vitinha scored in the 74th minute to restore PSG's lead.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia became the hero in the final moments of the match. He scored in the 86th minute and in the fourth minute of stoppage time, ensuring PSG's magnificent 5-2 victory.
With this win, PSG has taken a crucial three-goal advantage before the second leg. Chelsea now faces a very difficult challenge to make a comeback at their home ground.
