Real Madrid Dominates Manchester City with Valverde's Hat-trick in Champions League Last 16 First Leg

Kathmandu.  Real Madrid registered a spectacular 3-0 victory over Manchester City in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. With the help of Federico Valverde's hat-trick in the home game, Real has almost secured its place in the quarterfinals.

Real Madrid took control of the game in the first half. Federico Valverde gave the home team the lead by scoring in the 20th minute of the match. Seven minutes later, in the 27th minute, he scored his second personal goal to double the lead.

With 3 minutes remaining before the end of the first half, Valverde completed his hat-trick in the 42nd minute, putting Real Madrid in a strong 3-0 position.

Manchester City tried to make a comeback in the second half but could not succeed. City players were unable to break through Real Madrid's strong defense. With this victory, Real Madrid has built a significant lead for the second leg. The second leg will now be played at Manchester City's home ground, where they will be under pressure to win by at least a three-goal margin to make a comeback in the tie.
