Home Minister Aryal Assures Swift Government Formation Based on Election Mandate

Kathmandu. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has stated that a government will be formed soon in accordance with the mandate received in the elections.

Speaking at a lamp-lighting ceremony organized by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in memory of the martyrs at Chabahil Stupa on Saturday evening, he said that the responsibility of the government will be handed over quickly to fulfill the dreams of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives wishing for good governance, stability, and prosperity in the country.

Minister Aryal expressed his commitment to providing maximum support to the new government in resolving existing problems in the country such as corruption, delays, and unemployment, which have become distortions. He stated that the government will soon publicize the report prepared by the high-level investigation committee formed to probe the Genji movement and put it into implementation, expressing confidence that the new government will continue further legal action against those involved in the damage to public property and crimes committed during the movement.

Minister Aryal paid tribute to the martyrs who attained martyrdom in the movement and lit a lamp. The party announced that it will not organize processions or rallies immediately and will visit every neighborhood in all constituencies to meet voters in the near future.
