Janmat Party Chairman CK Raut Assures Supporters He Is Not Disturbed by Election Results

Kathmandu. Janmat Party Chairman Dr. CK Raut has made it clear that he is not disturbed or agitated in any way following the election results, as he shared his views.

As Raut, a candidate from Saptari 2 in the House of Representatives election, headed towards a defeat, he addressed his supporters and well-wishers through social media, stating that he highly values and respects the mandate of the people. 

Raut stated that regardless of how the election results turn out, he personally feels no sorrow and remains completely calm and pleased.

Raut claimed that he never had any attachment to the position of Member of Parliament or Minister, mentioning that they did not enter politics solely for parliamentary politics. He clarified that he views parliamentary politics only as a coincidence. 

However, he admitted that the sudden collapse of political forces that emerged from the Madhes movement and struggled, sacrificed, and made martyrdom for the Madhes for decades has caused him some concern.
He took the fact that one party is about to secure nearly a two-thirds majority in the election in a positive light. Wishing the majority party well to provide a proper environment to lead the country out of its current situation, he said they should now show what they can do. 

He emphasized that the country must find a direction, whether the majority party acts positively or negatively. At the end of his message, Raut expressed gratitude to his supporters by saying, 'Jai Madhes, Jai Swaraj'.
