Actress Nisha Adhikari Returns to Film Career After Unsuccessful Parliamentary Bid

Kathmandu. Actress Nisha Adhikari, who contested the House of Representatives election from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5, has returned to her former field of cinema following the election results.

Adhikari, who ran under the 'Gatishil Loktantrik Party' banner, did not achieve the expected results in the election, securing only 91 votes. Regardless of the outcome, she has now joined the shooting set of the film 'Kasturi', putting the electoral defeat behind her.

Upon returning to the set, Nisha thanked the 'Kasturi' team via social media for waiting for her until the election concluded. She wrote, "Starting today, I will be busy with the shooting of 'Kasturi'. Heartfelt thanks to the 'Kasturi' team for waiting for me until the election."

In the film, she will be sharing the screen with famous actor Nikhil Upreti. Remembering Nikhil as her first 'co-star', Nisha described the opportunity to work with him as a happy coincidence.
