Rastriya Swatantra Party Candidates Lead in All Six Constituencies of Morang District Vote Counting

Kathmandu. Vote counting is underway in various constituencies of Morang district for the House of Representatives elections. According to the latest vote results received, candidates from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have maintained the lead in all six constituencies.

As of the latest vote count when this news was prepared on Friday, in Morang 1, Yagyaman Neupane of the Rastriya Swatantra Party is leading with 10,256 votes. He is being followed by Shanti Pakhrin Lama of the Shram Sanskriti Party with 7,515 votes, while Khadga Bahadur Phago of the Nepali Congress is in third place with 5,120 votes.

Similarly, in Constituency 2, Krishna Kumar Karki of the Rastriya Swatantra Party is in the lead with 11,422 votes, while Dilip Kumar Agrawal of CPN (UML) is in second place with 4,457 votes, followed by Minendra Prasad Rijal of the Nepali Congress with 3,848 votes.

In Constituency 3 as well, Ganesh Karki of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has taken the lead, securing 4,605 votes. His closest competitor, Amir Magar of the Shram Sanskriti Party, received 3,570 votes, while Sunil Kumar Sharma of the Nepali Congress is in contention with 3,479 votes.

In Morang Constituency 4, Santosh Rajbanshi of the Rastriya Swatantra Party is in the lead with 21,114 votes. He is being followed by Aman Lal Modi of the CPN (Maoist Centre) with 9,499 votes, while Guru Raj Ghimire of the Nepali Congress is in third place with 7,803 votes.

Furthermore, in Morang 5, Asha Jha of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has established a wide lead. She received 10,108 votes, while her closest rival, Raj Kumar Yadav of the Janata Samajbadi Party, Nepal, received 3,686 votes. Phul Kumar Lalwani of the Nepali Congress is in third place with 3,204 votes.

Morang Constituency 6 also maintains the lead for RSP. Here, Rubina Acharya has secured a massive lead of 30,518 votes. She is being followed by Dr. Shekhar Koirala of the Nepali Congress with 7,788 votes. Binod Prasad Dhakal of CPN (UML) is in third place with 5,254 votes.
