Rastriya Swatantra Party's Indira Rana Magar Takes Commanding Lead in Jhapa-2 House of Representatives Race

Jhapa. Former Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar has taken a wide lead in the Jhapa Constituency No. 2 under the House of Representatives election.

According to the latest results of the ongoing vote count, Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Indira has taken the lead by securing 5,994 votes.

CPN-UML candidate and former Speaker Devraj Ghimire has only received 969 votes. He is trailing by a margin of over 5,000 votes.

In this constituency, Keshav Kumar Bhandari of the Shram Sanskriti Party has secured 928 votes, while Sarita Prasai of the Nepali Congress has received 590 votes.

Here, Bhadra Prasad Nepal of the RPP received 366 votes, and Dharmashila Chapagain of the Communist Party of Nepal received 113 votes.
