Rastriya Swatantra Party Candidate Takes Lead in Jhapa Constituency-1 House of Representatives Race

Jhapa, February 22: Nisha Dangi, the candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Jhapa Constituency-1 for the House of Representatives election, has taken the lead.

According to Election Officer Gopi Bishwakarma, after counting 3,779 votes, Dangi has secured 1,702 votes. In the same constituency, the candidate from the Shram Sanskriti Party, Kebalram Rai, has received 775 votes, Keshavraj Pandey from the Nepali Congress has received 525 votes, and Ramchandra Upreti from CPN (UML) has received 405 votes.

The Election Officer's office stated that out of 131,067 registered voters in this constituency, 76,774 votes were cast.
