Vote Counting Underway in Four Constituencies Across Sudurpashchim Province

Dhangadhi. Vote counting is currently in progress in four constituencies out of the 16 in Sudurpashchim Province. Counting is taking place in Kailali Constituency No. 1 and all three constituencies in Kanchanpur.

Counting began on Friday morning in Kailali-1 and Kanchanpur-1, while counting in the other two constituencies of Kanchanpur had already commenced earlier.

The Office of the Election Officer stated that counting in Kailali Constituency No. 1 commenced immediately after an all-party meeting held at 4 AM on Friday. Similarly, vote counting has just begun in Kanchanpur Constituency No. 1.

Initial results have already been made public for Kanchanpur Constituencies No. 2 and 3, where counting started earlier. According to the preliminary results received, candidates from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have taken the lead in both constituencies.
