Karnali Province Sees 45.2% Voter Turnout by 3 PM in House of Representatives Election

Surkhet. As of 3:00 PM, 45.2 percent of votes have been cast in the ongoing voting for the election of the House of Representatives member in Karnali.

According to Nandaram Chaulagai, Information Officer at the Karnali Province Election Office, Surkhet, Dolpa recorded the highest turnout among the 12 constituencies in the province at 59.42 percent.

Similarly, Information Officer Chaulagain informed that Mugu recorded 55.42 percent, Humla 52.91 percent, Rukum West 50.61 percent, Jajarkot 49.75 percent, Jumla 47.67 percent, Kalikot 42.64 percent, and Salyan 38.45 percent.

According to him, Surkhet Constituency No. 1 recorded 48.25 percent, Constituency No. 2 recorded 46.11 percent, Dailekh Constituency No. 1 recorded 37.33 percent, and Constituency No. 2 recorded 35.27 percent. The Provincial Election Office stated that out of a total of 1,037,025 voters, 468,425 voters in Karnali Province have cast their votes so far.
