President Bhandari calls for protecting the nature

Kathmandu – President Bidya Devi Bhandari today planted a tree sapling on the premises of President Office in Sheetal Niwas on the occasion of the World Environment Day. The sapling planted by the President is Ginkgo biloba. 

The Head-of-the -State also twitted, calling for protecting and conserving natural heritages, said the President's chief personal secretary Bheshraj Adhikari. "Adorn the Earth, the invaluable gift of the nature, keep the blue sky safe" and "utilise natural heritages in a balanced way and do justice to the beautiful nature" are the messages of the President's tweet . 
June 5 every year is observed as the World Environment Day.---
