Netanyahu States US-Israel Campaign Aims to Topple Iranian Regime

Kathmandu. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Monday that the objective of the joint US-Israel campaign against Iran is to create a situation where the Iranian people remove their religious leadership.

Speaking to the media after visiting the Israeli site struck by Iranian missiles, Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "That day is approaching, and when it comes, the Iranian people will find Israel and the United States there together. It is important that the Iranian people are with us. We will be there if they wish."

Speaking about Iran for the first time since the joint attack by Israel and the United States on Saturday, Netanyahu said, "The time has come for the Iranians to 'abandon the game of autocracy,'" and that US President Donald Trump has asked them to 'take back their country.'"

Attacks on Five Hundred Sites

Meanwhile, according to reports from Tehran, Iran has stated it is retaliating following the joint attack by the US and Israel.

The Revolutionary Guards announced on Monday, the third day of the war, that 500 sites related to the United States and Israel in the Middle East have been targeted and attacked so far.

"Since the conflict began, Iranian forces have attacked 60 strategic targets and 500 American military targets," the Guards said in a statement. The Guards also reported launching over 700 drones and hundreds of missiles in the latest conflict.
