One Israeli Civilian Killed, 121 Injured in Iranian Attack, Says Emergency Services

Israel's emergency ambulance service reported that one Israeli woman has died so far following Iran's attack. According to them, another 121 people were injured in the attack. Most of the injured are reported to be in stable condition. 

Following the joint attack by the US and Israel on Iran on Saturday, Iran retaliated by launching a large-scale missile and drone attack on Israel. According to the Israeli military, most of the missiles and drones were intercepted or destroyed. However, some landed in Israel's major city of Tel Aviv and in the Beit Shemesh area, west of Jerusalem.

According to officials, shrapnel also fell near the northern West Bank city of Qalqilya. It is not yet clear whether this was the remnant of a rocket or a piece of an interceptor missile. The shrapnel reportedly fell far from an illegal Israeli settlement and near Palestinian territory. Concerns have been raised that Palestinian areas remain vulnerable as the Israeli defense system is primarily designed to protect Israeli citizens. Reports emerged on Saturday morning that a Palestinian was injured in the southern West Bank city of Beit Sahour.

Meanwhile, it was reported that the Israeli army shot and killed a Palestinian near Hebron throughout the day. Reports indicated that Israeli settlers continued their attacks even while the rocket attacks were ongoing. Analysts have expressed concern that Palestinians living under military occupation are facing increased risk as the conflict between Israel, the US, and Iran intensifies.
