Beni ,Myagdi –A woman from Okharbot of Malika rural municipality – 4 of Myagdi has remained missing along with her two sons for a week.
26 – year – old Kalpana Pun, who had been living in a rented room along with her 10 – year – old son Rohit and seven – year – old son Hemanta for the past four years in Darwang has disappeared, according to Kalpana's brother – in – law Hari Pun.
"We searched for them at all of our relatives' places and after we did not find them we sought police's support," Pun added.
Kalpana arrived in Darwang to enroll her sons at the KB Academy four years ago. Her husband Thagendra is in UAE for foreign employment. A report has been filed at the Area Police Office, Darwang for the missing persons.
According to family members, they have information that Kalpana boarded a bus heading towards Beni from Darwang on May 27. Transport entrepreneurs have said they saw her boarding a bus to Kathmandu from Darwang and got off at Beni. There are no clues as to where she went from Beni.
The family members have appealed to anyone coming across the woman with two sons to inform the nearest police station.
