CPN Chairman Prachanda Claims Growing Public Trust in Party Amidst Political Shift

Kathmandu. Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), stated that public trust and confidence in his party are increasing.

Speaking at an event organized here today by the NCP Nuwakot-Kathmandu Liaison Coordination Committee, he mentioned that public trust in the NCP is growing because the party is moving forward aggressively in recent times. "As the two old parties, Congress and UML, have become defensive, public trust in the NCP is increasing," he said.

Former Prime Minister Dahal stated that only the policies, plans, and programs put forward by the NCP can protect the nation's sovereignty and work in the interest of the public. He claimed that if they can reach every household in the next five days to explain their platform, the NCP will become the country's leading political party.

"The Nepal Communist Party is the only party that has moved forward in the elections as a grand campaign and has emerged as a surge; other old parties are defensive. We are the only ones moving forward aggressively," said former Prime Minister Dahal.

From the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), former minister Hit Bahadur Tamang is the candidate for Nuwakot Constituency No. 1, and Hiranath Khatiwada is the candidate for Constituency No. 2.
