Biratnagar – A fire on Sunday evening at a private residence at Budhabare of Belbari – 8 here in Morang has gutted properties worth Rs 300,000.
The fire destroyed a two storey house made of wood and tins belonging to Kumar Thapa. Clothes, food commodities and crockery were also gutted in the fire, according to 1 Police Province Office, Biratnagar.
The fire was taken under control by fire engine with help of locals and police. The fire was caused from an electric short-circuit.
