Pedestrian dies after getting rammed by pickup truck

Urlabari, Morang – A pedestrian has died after getting rammed by a pickup truck this morning at Sundarharaicha municipality – 4 along the East West Highway. 

50 – year – old Mahesh Chaudhary was struck by pickup truck (Me 1 Cha 5414) heading east from west at 5:30 am. 

Chaudhary, who sustained fatal injuries in the accident, died undergoing treatment at the Dharan – based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences at 6:25 am, according to the District Police Office, Morang. Police post at Ghachiya have detained the driver and impounded the vehicle involved.
