Sörloth's Hat-Trick Powers Atletico Madrid Past Club Brugge into Champions League Group Stage

With the help of a spectacular hat-trick from Alexander Sørloth, Spanish club Atletico Madrid defeated Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League playoffs to secure their place in the tournament's group stage.

In the second leg of the playoff held on Tuesday, Atletico Madrid defeated Club Brugge by a wide margin of 4-1.

Alexander Sørloth gave the home team Atletico the lead with the first goal in the 23rd minute of the match. However, in the 36th minute, Club Brugge's Joel Ordóñez scored to bring the game level.

Atletico performed excellently in the second half. In the 48th minute, Johnny Cardoso scored to give the team a 2-1 lead again. Following this, Sørloth, who shone in the game, completed his hat-trick by scoring two more goals in the 76th and 87th minutes, ensuring the team's 4-1 victory.

With this victory, Atletico Madrid advanced to the Champions League group stage with an aggregate score of 7-4.
