EC directs Press Council to present Editor In Chief within three days

Kathmandu - The Election Commission has directed Press Council Nepal to present Editor-In-Chief of Deshantar weekly before the EC with the proof of allegation he/she made on EC in news published recently. 

Issuing a press release Monday, the EC decided to urge the Press Council to take action against the Editor-In-Chief of the weekly, reasoning the weekly published baseless news. 

The EC has also said it would also inform the Ministry of Information and Communications about the incident.
