Police officer acquitted in case of impregnating girl

Paanchthar –An assistant sub inspector of police has been acquitted in a charge of impregnating a girl from Paanchthar. 

Falgunanda rural municipality – 1 based Nawamidanda Police Post In – charge, Bal Bahadur Thatal, was cleared by the district court's verdict. 

He was arrested in accusation of raping a girl by enticing her and impregnating her. District's Justice Manoj KC gave the verdict exonerating the assistant sub inspector. 

The case was disclosed after Thatal tried to provide money to the girl's parents to seek abortion. The girl's father had sought a medicine at a pharmacy for abortion.
