Vice President Yadav Extends Greetings on Democracy Day

Kathmandu. Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has extended heartfelt best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity, and continuous progress to all Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of Democracy Day.

Issuing a message of best wishes on this occasion, he stated, "This day inspires us to move forward unitedly in the direction of ending poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, and discrimination while preserving the federalism, inclusivity, proportional representation, and rule of law enshrined in the constitution. To strengthen democracy, it is necessary for political parties, leadership, and all citizens to embrace ideal conduct, positive thinking, and responsible behavior."

The Vice President emphasized that everyone concerned must faithfully discharge their responsibilities to protect civil rights, ensure equal opportunities, build an egalitarian society based on social justice, and strengthen the federal democratic republic.
