Nepali Films 'Kumari' and 'Ramita Ko Pirati' Enter Second Week of Screening Amid Positive Reception

Kathmandu. The films 'Kumari' and 'Ramita Ko Pirati' have successfully entered their second week of screening. Both films, which began showing nationwide on Magh 24, are reported to have received good support from the audience. The box office report for the films will be made public starting Monday, after which their business performance can be accurately assessed.

'Kumari' is directed by Dinesh Raut. The film, based on a love story between young men and women, has been screened in Nepal as well as in Australia, the United States, Canada, and Middle Eastern countries. Produced by Mahendra Adhikari, the film features performances by Abhishek Khadka and Aakriti Rajbhandari, Ghanshyam Joshi, Sunita Shrestha, Akanksha Karki, among others. The executive producer of this film, written by Bikash Subedi and cinematographed by Susan Prajapati, is Kedar Bhusal.

Similarly, 'Ramita Ko Pirati' is directed by female director Sudipta Adhikari. The film, made on the theme of a breakup, presents the love, betrayal, and subsequent mental state seen in the younger generation from a woman's perspective.

 The film stars Ana Sharma, Binay Shrestha, Dheeraj Magar, Samir Shrestha, Gaumaya Gurung, among others. Sagar Lamsal is the producer, while Ana Sharma and Santosh Lamsal serve as executive producers.
