Former Karnali Chief Minister Rajkumar Sharma Expelled from CPN, Removed as Provincial Lawmaker

Surkhet. Provincial lawmaker Rajkumar Sharma, who is also a former Chief Minister of Karnali, has been disciplined by the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN).

A letter informing the Parliament Secretariat that Sharma has been removed from his position as a lawmaker has been sent.

CPN Chief Whip Krishna Bahadur GC wrote a letter to the Parliament Secretariat on Wednesday informing them that action had been taken resulting in him no longer being a member of the Provincial Assembly.

Sharma was elected to the Provincial Assembly in 079 from CPN (Maoist Centre). He did not participate in the recent unification process.

He is currently the Provincial In-charge of the Progressive Democratic Party (Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party - LOPRA) led by Janardan Sharma. Sharma, who was the party leader while in the Maoist Centre, had resigned some time ago.
