CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda Directs Cadres to Focus on Upcoming Elections

Kaski. The Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has directed party members to engage in the election process, affirming that elections will be held on the scheduled date.

Addressing a district-level party cadre gathering in Pokhara today, Chairman Dahal instructed activists to become active in the publicity campaign, as the House of Representatives election is confirmed for the upcoming Falgun 21.

Dispelling any doubt about whether the election would take place, he requested that the next three weeks be dedicated to the party, stating, "In the extraordinary situation that has developed in the country following the Jana Andolan (People's Movement), leaders, cadres, and well-wishers of CPN-Maoist Center must mobilize from their respective locations to ensure the election results are in favor of CPN-Maoist Center. Move forward today itself to ensure the victory of your candidates."

Chairman Dahal further cautioned, "Be aware that other parties might spread rumors that CPN-Maoist Center will neutralize candidacies through electoral alliances in the final stages of the election. Currently, we are not in favor of any kind of equation or alliance in this election. We want to stand on our own feet, win the trust of the general public, and become the largest party in the parliament," said Chairman Dahal.
