Pedestrian killed after getting struck by passenger bus

Surunga, Jhapa – A pedestrian was struck to death by a passenger bus on Saturday night at Kankai municipality – 1 along the East – West Highway. 

Matri Bhagyarekha Bus (Me 1 Kha 2283) hit a male of estimated 34 years of age. District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa said the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. 

The person who sustained fatal injuries after being hit by the bus heading east from west died on the way to Mechi Zonal Hospital, police said.
