Ward office honours senior citizens

Phalebash, Parbat – The elderly citizens of a single village have been honoured in recognition for their contribution to the society. 

Ward office at Huwas of Painjyu rural municipality – 4 honoured septuagenarians to a centenarian on Thursday. Ward Chairman Mahendra Shrestha said the senior citizens were honoured as part of an approved programme of the ward office. 

Shrestha said the office honoured 106 – year – old Dil Bahadur Kami among 73 elderly citizens. On the occasion, District Coordination Committee Parbat's Deputy Chief Yam Kumari Rana praised the ward office for honouring the senior citizens.
