Barcelona Edges Past Albacete 2-1 to Reach Copa del Rey Semifinals

Kathmandu.  Barcelona defeated Albacete 2-1 in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals. In a match that remained thrilling until the end of regular time, Barcelona's young star Lamine Yamal and defender Ronald Araujo scored goals, taking the team to the door of the semifinals.

Lamine Yamal gave Barcelona the lead with an excellent finish in the 39th minute of the match. Ronald Araujo scored with a header in the 56th minute for Barcelona, who became aggressive in the second half, making the score 2-0.

The home team, Albacete, showed signs of not giving up until the final moments. Although Xavi Moreno scored a goal back in the 87th minute, there was not enough time for an equalizer. Ultimately, Barcelona succeeded in entering the semifinals of the competition with a 2-1 victory.
