NWA expands executive committee

Kathmandu – The Nepal Women Association (NWA), the sister wing of the Nepali Congress, has expanded its executive committee. 

Association chair Uma Regmi nominated Saraswoti Aryal Tiwari as the vice chair on the committee while Usha Rawat Mishra has been nominated as the secretary, said the NWA. The nominations were made as per the NWA statute. 

Likewise, Chhalikumari Sharma Upadhyay, Kamala Bhatta, Ganga Awal, Narayani Raymajhi and Maiya Basnet have been nominated as the NWA central members among general convention representatives. Tiwari and Mishra are the elected central members of the NWA.
