Digital tourist information centre set up in Beni

Beni, Myagdi – A digital tourist information centre has been established in the district headquarters of Myagdi, Beni, with the aim to provide information about agricultural productions and religious and tourist destinations of the district. 


The information centre will provide all details about old and new path trails, photos taken six decades ago of the whole Myagdi, and the pictures that show identity of various aspects like economic, social, cultural and political of the locals. It also makes available smart televisions, and free internet. 


Tourists can get information and details of any part of the district, and of cultural, political, economic and social aspects of the local people, said the information centre coordinator Rajesh Shakya, also Vice President of Myagdi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 


"The information centre would help tourists visiting the district in various ways, and unlike in the past where they would face difficulties for lack of an information provider, they can easily get information about tourist destinations they are wishing to visit," said owner of Hotel Yak Baburam Acharya.
