Joint patrol at Nepal – India border

Nawalparasi –A joint patrol was held at the Nepal – India border area in the outskirts of western Nawalparasi district on Monday. 

The joint patrol by the security forces from the two countries aimed at controlling robbery, smuggling and other criminal activities, according to Armed Police Force Harpur's Inspector Prakash Kumar Dhakal. 

The patrol which stared at Gopalpur Pillar no 505 at Palhinandan area near Nawalparasi's no man's land ended at Pillar no 508 at Germi of Palhinandan – 6. 

The 11 – member Indian security team was led by SSB Thuthibari's Inspector Rajbendra Singh while the 13 – member Nepali team was led by APF Inspector Dhakal.
