Minister Kharel urges voters to elect positive change makers

Lalitpur, Dec 20: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has urged voters to cast vote to those who could bring in positive changes in the country.

At a programme organized by an academic institution in Lalitpur on Saturday, Minister Kharel stressed that the leadership that could ensure positive changes should be voted in the March 5 election.

"The general public should be aware in leadership selection to end the trend of youth's outmigration. The leadership working for positive transformation could work for public welfare in education, health, employment and other sectors," Minister Kharel added.

Minister Kharel viewed that a conducive environment was needed for the new generation to stay and work within the country. "For this, qualified and efficient leadership should be elected," he urged.

On the occasion, Minister Kharel and the spokesperson of the government said that the first priority of this government is to hold election in the slated time.

The excessive use of social networking sites and modernity has resulted in a gap between the grandchildren and their grandparents, Minister Kharel shared his observation.

Likewise, he asked the academic institutions to impart knowledge on good cultures and civilizations adding that good cultures help produce good citizens to make a society and the nation success.
