National Assembly Chair becomes guardian of a girl and boy

Ratnanagar, Chitwan – National Assembly Vice Chairperson, Shashikala Dahal, established guardianship over two children from Ratnagar of Chitwan. 

She became the guardian of a Chepang girl and a Dalit boy. After becoming guardian, Dahal got seven – year – old Maya Chepang from Kaule area of Ichhakamana rural municipality – 1 admitted to grade one amidst a programme organized by the Gambenshi Chepang Conservation Centre on Sunday. 

Dahal also got Arun Ramtel admitted to grade one of the Janajagriti Secondary School in Ratnangar. On the occasion, Dahal said she felt happy to become the guardians of the girl and boy.
