Preparing foundation for socialist movement is major responsibility: Prachanda

Kathmandu –CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has urged all communist revolutionaries and leftist progressive forces to join the unification and polarization process.

 
Issuing a press note today on the occasion of the party establishment day and Lenin Day, Prachanda has asked all to join this historical campaign of creating a basis of socialism. 

On the occasion, the former prime minister has also wished best wishes to all progressive and patriot communities, and condolence to the martyrs. 

Similarly, the Maoist Centre Chairman has expressed his tribute to the persons enforced disappearances and has wished for the speedy recovery of the injured ones. 

Prachanda has also recalled that the communist movement in Nepal has come to this stage by witnessing a serious of class struggle, ideological struggles, splits and unities, and has urged all to move ahead unitedly. 

In the statement, the Maoist Centre Chairman has stated the people's movement carried out on the base of the People's War abolished the monarchy and the federal democratic republic constitution was promulgated through the Constituent Assembly (CA). 

The major responsibility of the time is to prepare a foundation for the socialist movement for the successful implementation of the new constitution, Prachanda said.
