Tehrathum –Senior Citizens District Association, Tehrathum on Monday honoured a 109 – year – old centenarian coinciding with the occasion of Mother's Day.
Padammaya Shrestha, 109, from Nagdaha of Myanglung municipality – 3 was feted amidst a programme.
Myanglung municipality's Mayor Parbati Sanu Dangi along with the association's officials and members met Shrestha at her residence and honoured her, Association's District Secretary Umanath Bhattarai said.
